Grimshaw Architects

Founded in London in 1980, Grimshaw is one of the most active and famous studios on the international scene. With offices in London, New York and Melbourne and over 100 collaborators, Grimshaw has managed and completed projects in Great Britain, North American, Switzerland, Spain, the Netherlands and Mexico.

Its rigorous attention to detail, the great innovations it has introduced, the rationality of its buildings, its research in new materials and construction techniques, its attention to spaces and to the relation between new constructions and contemporary reality, have enabled the Grimshaw studio to win more than 100 international awards.

In 2001 Grimshaw was the first large architecture firm to obtain certification under Environmental Management System Standard BS EN ISO 14001.

Some of the most important works handled by Grimshaw include the Airside Centre in Zurich, the Eden project in Cornwall, the Euro Terminal of Waterloo Station in London and the Frankfurt Trade Fair Hall in Frankfurt.
