Founded in 2000, the Munoz+Albin Architecture & Planning studio is active on both the American and European markets. With offices in Houston and Mexico City, it chiefly operates on behalf of large companies in projects for the residential, retail, hotel and office sectors.
The studio’s small size enables its two partners to follow all the managed projects directly and to succeed in creating lasting relationships with all their clients.
The attention given to the quality and to the level of the realisations is demonstrated by the great success achieved by their projects. Among the most important are the master plan of the first resort ever built in the Yucatan Region (Gulf of Mexico) and the buildings in the Diagonal Mar area in Barcelona, a project that in 2004 won the Design Excellence Award for a European Project, assigned to the studio by Urban Land Institute.
