Founded in 1955 by I.M. Pei, Eason H. Leonard and Henry N. Cobb, the Pei Cobb Freed & Partners studio has developed over 2,000 projects all over the world.
The firm has five partners: Henry N. Cobb, Michael D. Flynn, George H. Miller, Ian Bader and Yvonne Szeto.

Pei Cobb Freed & Partners is a full-service architecture studio with around 100 professionals that has developed projects for institutional, private and corporate clients, designing important public spaces, museums, academic buildings, laboratories, centres for art and shows, places of worship, hotels, office buildings, residential towers and multipurpose projects (such as shopping malls, etc.). The studio is also active in both urban and interior design.
The studio follows its clients in all the various phases of project development, from the initial design to final realisation. All projects developed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners are LEED certified.

Among the studio’s most famous realisations are the John F. Kennedy Library, the John Hancock Tower, the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the International Trade Center in Washington.
