EDAW is a multidisciplinary international studio – with professionals in design, planning, economics, land and environment sciences and graphics – specialised in landscape architecture, three-dimensional development planning and environmental rehabilitation, with 32 offices in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and the United States. Chair of the Board of EDAW is the urban designer Barbara Faga, specialised in urban planning for over 25 years. Among her most recent projects are the Centennial Olympic Park and the Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta, Georgia, the Diagonal Mar Park in Barcelona, Spain, the Schuylkill River master plan in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Lancaster Avenue redevelopment in Fort Worth, Texas. She has received the Distinguished Alumni Award in Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University and DesignIntelligence magazine named her one the top 15 women changing the world of architecture.
