Founded in Milan by Stefano Boeri, Gianandrea Barreca and Giovanni La Varra, the Studio Boeri has focused its activity on the architecture, urban design and urban planning of areas that require renovations or need to be valorised. The studio operates both at the national and international level.
In the last few years it has developed and completed projects for the transformation and reuse for urban and tourism purposes of the waterfronts of Genoa, Naples, Trieste, Cagliari, Thessaloniki, Mytilini, and zones with important historical worth, like the project for the multipurpose building of the PACA region in Marseille (2004).
Among the numerous interventions in the course of realisation are the development of the large urban park of Caserta, the transformation of the Ravenna dockyard and the project for environmental and touristic restructuring of the Archipelago of La Maddalena in Sardinia.
